Training to the families as well as the community group. This will help the community to visualize themselves as expert of goat rearing.
Increasing the herd size through multiplicity. The goat rearers should sell the kids or goat by keeping the parent.
Establishment of shed along with goat platform through local available resources. This will help prevent goat from infectious diseases which in turn will reduce mortality rate.
Awareness camp to be organized for the community to make them aware of timely deworming and vaccination of goat (PPR & ET).
The team can provide families a health card which will help in follow up and ensure timely vaccination and deworming.
Training to be provided to Pashu Mitra for not only vaccination and deworming but also for shed, feed and health management with basic treatment so that he/she can earn a feasible income.
Linking community with financial institution for scaling of goat
